Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd
This week, we look at another of Jesus' "I am" statements from the Gospel of John where Jesus directly confronts the Pharisees over their reaction to the healing of the blind beggar. We'll see how Jesus' claim to be the Good Shepherd not only had big implications for the Pharisees but also for us today.
Be Transformed
This Sunday guest speaker Rick Wilson will be preaching on our transformation in Christ while walking us through Romans 12:1-2.
You've Got a Better Hope
In this sermon on Hebrews 7:11-28, we learn why having Jesus as our Great High Priest is so wonderful, and how our ultimate hope is that we can draw near to God through Him.
Jesus Christ, the True Vine
This week, we look at Jesus' last "I am" statement in the Gospel of John where Jesus declares himself to be the true vine. Here, Jesus teaches us to abide in him by being connected to him just as a branch is connected to a vine. We will see that by abiding in Christ, God prunes us in order to produce much spiritual fruit.
Ask Your Father
Guest speaker Matt LaCava preaches from Matthew 7:7-11 about bringing our requests to our heavenly Father.
Jesus' Astonishing Authority
Guest speaker Tom Miller, elder/evangelist from Northern Ridge Baptist Church, preaches on the authority of Christ from Matthew 7:28-29.
You've Got a Priest-King
In this exposition of Hebrews 7:1-10, we'll discover the relevance of Melchizedek in Scripture, and bask in the glorious reality that we've got a Priest-King in Christ.
Corporate Worship & How to Make the Most of It
In this sermon we will consider the nature and importance of regular corporate worship, and look at some ways we can engage wholeheartedly in worship when we are gathered together.
Contentment in Confusing Times
In this exposition of Psalm 131, we will learn about the way to gain true contentment in the Lord, in situations that we find most confusing.
The Gospel & Division Among Races
In this sermon on Acts 17:15-34, James Miller (Missionary to Alaska) will explore the need of the world for the Gospel.
Heading Toward Redemption
In this exposition of Genesis 11:10-32, we reach the end of the first major section of the book of Genesis. We'll see how this simple genealogy points us to the fulfillment of God's saving promises.
The Kingdoms of Man
Our next exposition in Genesis will focus on the familiar story of "the tower of Babel." We'll see how the sins of Babel infect our lives today, and how the Lord's response to these sins should sober us and give us hope.
What Unites Us All
Returning back to our journey through Genesis, we'll walk through the history of mankind following the flood in Genesis 9:18-10:32, and see how it tells the story of the Gospel.
Death is Not the End
In this exposition of 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, we'll see how the resurrection of Christ and the promise of every Christian's future resurrection at Christ's return should affect the way we think about death.
While the Earth Remains
In our next exposition of Genesis, we are going to dive into the setting and the terms of the "Noahic Covenant" - God's promise to never destroy the world again with a flood. We'll deal with the reasons this covenant is so important, and how it points to the Gospel.
God's Promises & God's People
In this exposition of Genesis 8, we'll consider how the Lord puts his saving love and faithfulness to his saving promises on display as the waters of the flood receded, the earth dries out, and Noah and his family finally are allowed to exit the ark.
Taking God at His Word
In Genesis 7, God makes good on all the warnings of judgment and promises of salvation he spoke to Noah. In our exposition of this passage, we'll consider how the truthfulness of God's words should alter the way we live.
A Way of Escape
In our next exposition of Genesis, we'll see God reveal a way of escape from his judgment to Noah, and consider how it points us to the way of salvation through Christ.
God's Response to Sin & Sinners
Returning back to the prologue to the flood narrative in Genesis 6:1-8, we'll meditate upon God's response to sin and sinners, and how that response is one of judgment and salvation.
