About The Herd
Teenagers are a vital part of our church family and we want to do all we can to see them come to a saving knowledge of Christ and spend the rest of their lives living for his glory. We desire to give them the opportunity to learn for themselves the truth about who God is, to grow in spiritual maturity as followers of Jesus, and to serve Jesus by loving his church and sharing his Gospel with others.
To this end, our church has an active and growing youth ministry that we would love for you and your teenagers (7-12 grade) to be a part of. Here are the things we do together regularly:
Get Involved
Student Bible Class
The Student Bible Class takes place at the church on Sunday Mornings from 9-10 am, where we dive into the serious study of the Bible together, currently working through The Gospel Project curriculum.
Youth Group
Every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm, students from 7-12th grade meet at the church to play games, hang out, pray, and study the Bible together. Youth Group is a time for students to connect, encourage one another, and search the Bible to see how the truth of God’s Word addresses daily life issues.
Activities and Events
To grow in relationships with one another and put to use the things we are learning from God’s Word, we like to get together regularly to get to know one another better, reach out to our friends, have fun and complete group service projects.

Join us for a night full of delicious tacos, laughter, and testing your trivia knowledge at The Herd's third annual Tacos & Trivia Night on Sunday evening May 3rd, 2026!
All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go towards helping keep Camp Regen affordable for our teens as they prepare for camp at the end of July.
Tickets start at $5 for children between the ages of 5-10, and $20 for adults and children over 10.
Childcare will be provided for children under 5
Please be sure to "purchase" a free ticket for all children who will require childcare. This information will be used to plan childcare coverage.

Camp Regeneration ("Regen") is the High School Summer Camp hosted by John MacArthur and Grace Community Church for high school ministries nationwide to join on the campus of Glorieta, New Mexico for powerful expository preaching, Christ-centered music, intense team games, various outdoor activities, small-group discipleship, and purposeful fellowship. Let us handle all of the camp details so you can focus on investing in your students! The ultimate goal of Camp Regeneration is to see students come to salvation in Jesus Christ and grow in the knowledge of Him.
They facilitate these by bringing in world-class expository preachers to share and explain God’s Word to those attending camp. These speakers break down the truths of Scripture in a way that is applicable to those in high school for what they are going through. However, they believe that you do not have to sacrifice fun in order to have sound, biblical teaching. Just to make sure of that, they load up the week with intense team games designed to maximize fun throughout the week! This week will be epic and over-the top with energy; the students will not want to miss it.
All students must fall between the following: finished the 8th grade - high school graduate.
